The MP135 is a planar semiconductor gas sensor designed for detecting harmful gases like hydrogen (H₂), alcohol and carbon monoxide (CO). It integrates a heater and metal oxide semiconductor material on a subminiature aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃) ceramic substrate. The electrodes lead out the electrical signals, and the entire sensing component is encapsulated in a metal socket and cap. Its working principle relies on the change of conductivity with the concentration of target gases — the higher the concentration of the detected gas, the higher the conductivity of the sensor. By means of a simple external circuit, this conductivity change can be converted into an output signal that matches the gas concentration, enabling easy integration into various detection systems.

 

Application Scenarios:

 

  • Household and office air quality monitoring equipment, used to detect harmful gases such as CO and alcohol.
  • Automatic exhaust devices, which trigger exhaust operations when harmful gas concentrations exceed the set threshold.
