The - Zephyr™ HAF series of sensors provide a digital interface for reading airflow data over the full flow range and temperature compensation range.An insulated heater and temperature sensing element help the sensor respond quickly to air flow or other air currents.
The Zephyr sensor is designed to measure the mass flow rate of air and other non-corrosive gases.Standard flow range can be used at ±50, ±100, ±200, ±400 or ±750 SCCM.Custom traffic ranges are also provided.These sensors utilize integrated circuits on the circuit board for full calibration and temperature compensation.
The HAF series compensates for temperatures from 0°C to 50 °C [32°F to 122°F] and can operate in temperatures from -20 °C to 70°C [-4°F to 158°F].ASIC based compensation enables digital (I2C) output and 1 ms response time.
These sensors measure the mass flow rate of the airflow based on heat transfer principles.They consist of microelectromechanical sensing systems (MEMS) containing thermal resistance microbridges, thin film platinum resistance deposited on silicon nitride thin films.The MEMS sensor chip is located within a precisely designed airflow channel to provide a repeatable response to flow.
